Audigier is best known for the Ed Hardy line of apparel that features the work of pioneering tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy. The casual apparel first offered the Japanese-inspired tattoos of Ed Hardy on hats and shirts. Their popularity enabled expansion of the line to include to denim, knits, shoes, bags and fragrances featuring the Ed Hardy name and imagery.
The first fragrances, Ed Hardy for Women and Ed Hardy for Men, were launched in 2008, and were quickly followed by a series of fragrances featuring the Ed Hardy name and designs. Christian Audigier also launched a pair of fragrances for men and women under his own name in 2009.
