Bijan PERFUME

Bijan is a men's fashion house founded by Persian designer Bijan Pakzad. Bijan (known professionally by his first name) migrated to the United States in 1973 and in 1976, with partner Dar Mahboubi, he established a menswear boutique in Beverly Hills, on famed Rodeo Drive. The designer's reputation was built on his high-quality, luxurious fashions and the "by appointment only" exclusivity of his showroom. The boutique continues to be billed as "the most expensive store in the world." By 1983, a second boutique had been launched in New York.
Bijan has dressed some of the world's most famous and powerful men, including U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama and George W. Bush, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as entertainers such as Tom Cruise, Usher and Jay Leno.
Bijan himself was known for his personal flair, reflected in the decor of his shop, his homes and his personal fleet of automobiles, which included customized Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and other luxury vehicles in yellow and black, which were frequently parked in front his boutique. Bijan partnered with automakers Rolls Royce Motors and Bugatti to launch exclusively-designed editions of their vehicles in 2010.
The house of Bijan expanded its offering to include jewelry, watches, accessories, and fragrances.
Bijan Pakzad passed away in April 2011, but the company continues under the direction of Bijan's longtime business partner and friend, Dar Mahboubi. Bijan's three children all play a role in the company, with daughter Daniela having served as its creative director since 1984.
The first fragrances, Bijan for men and women, were launched in 1987. Bijan for Men won the FiFi award for 1987 Men's fragrance of the year. The fragrance collection, distinguished by the unique round shapes of its bottles and caps, has been widely distributed and has received multiple nominations and awards over the years. The current fragrance license for Bijan is held by Five Star Fragrances.
Designer Bijan has 20 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1986 and the newest is from 2008. Bijan fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Peter Bohm, James Krivda, Givaudan and Claude Dir.
